Our living faith teaches us that we are Christ’s hands and feet in the world, called to love and serve our neighbors.
We love and serve those in need within our congregation, in our Rock Hill community, and in our global community.

Are You Called ToHelp The Homeless?
We provide homeless families with meals and a safe place to sleep in our church in conjunction with Family Promise.
Are You Called To Feed The Hungry?
Our congregation is engaged in a partnership with HOPE of Rock Hill, our neighbors on Aiken Ave., working to feed and assist people in our community who are in need.
Are You Called To Help Us Extend the Worship Community Beyond These Walls?
We bring Communion to those who are unable to join us for worship. We put our talents to good use, making quilts for those undergoing chemotherapy. Through our bereavement ministry, we support families who have lost a loved one with meals, visits, and ongoing support.
Are You Called To Love Your Neighbor?
We seek to build relationships across racial and religious groups through monthly programs to raise awareness about issues of prejudice and privilege. We provide gifts at Christmas and Easter to children and adults in need.
Are You Called To Serve Within The Church?
We live into our faith when we serve on a committee, teach Sunday School, assist with worship, or prepare food for church events.

As part of our faithful stewardship of the gifts we receive from God, we provide financial support to service agencies in our community and around the world.
How We Give
To support our living faith on a national and global scale, Grace tithes to the SC Synod. Through the Synod, we also give to the ELCA. These gifts support ministries beyond our congregation by enabling the ELCA to begin new ministries and grow existing congregations. These funds also provide the staff and resources for the development of new leaders, partnership with churches around the globe, alleviating poverty, working for justice and peace, and more.
Through the SC Synod, the congregation financially supports Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, Newberry College, Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, Lutheran Conference and Retreat Centers, Campus Ministry at colleges across the state and Lutheran Services Carolinas whose programs improve the lives of many vulnerable populations facing extraordinary life challenges including foster care, natural disasters, refugee resettlement, veteran homelessness and persistent mental illness.

Grace provides financial support to community service organizations recommended by our members.
