Welcome Pastors Gregg and Rachel Hoffman!

We welcome Grace's new pastoral leadership team of

    Pastors Gregg and Rachel Hoffman

Pastor Gregg is a native of Wheeling, West Virginia. He is a lifelong Lutheran, the church where he could explore and grow in faith. During his high school years, he served as his home congregation's organist. He studied Psychology at West Liberty University, worked for the Campus Ministry, and gained experience supply preaching for several small Methodist congregations. He attended Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. During seminary, he served as the Vicar at Nativity in Arden, NC, and after graduation, he was called there as one of their pastors. He has served as the pastor for worship, pastoral care & fellowship, and administration, and has functioned as the head of staff following the retirement of Nativity's former Senior Pastor.

Pastor Rachel is from Simpsonville, SC, and was baptized, confirmed, married, and ordained all in the same Lutheran congregation. She earned a degree in Religion at Furman University and then went to Southern Seminary. During seminary, she was the Vicar at All Saints in Huntsville, AL. She was called to Nativity after graduation, and has served there as the pastor for faith formation & youth, stewardship & outreach, and preschool.

Our new pastors met at seminary, and were married just before their senior year. They love spending time in the low country, and their favorite places to visit include Charleston & Hilton Head, SC, as well as Savannah, GA. Pr. Rachel married into a firm dedication to the Packers, Steelers, & Pittsburgh Penguins. Both enjoy exploring new places, going on hikes, and trying out new breweries. They look forward to seeing all Rock Hill has to offer and are excited to begin ministry with Grace in December!
