August
through May 9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Classes for all ages |
We have been commanded by Jesus to be disciples and teachers of His Word, and we must arm ourselves with knowledge and understanding of that Word. Regardless of age, our faith must be nurtured regularly with Christian education, learning, and fellowship. The Learning Committee at Grace is committed to providing quality learning experiences for all members. Classes are provided for all ages, as well as a nursery for children younger than two years old. |
Grace welcomes and desires to nurture God’s little ones in the safety of a caring nursery. Grace instituted a security program that guarantees the safety and well-being of their children. Employees are trained and an experienced nursery assistant supervises the nursery every Sunday throughout both worship services and during Sunday School. The security system involves a sign-in/sign-out policy that insures that a child remains in this protected environment until they are picked up by their parent.
A nursery is provided for children from birth to age two.
Children who turn two on or before September 1, will be enrolled in the Two Year Old class.
Parent-Tot Time
This is a time set aside during the Sunday School hour for parents who have children younger than 2 years old to come together in fellowship each week. This time is for moms and dads to build relationships with one another. Just come to the nursery with your child and let them play, nap or eat while you enjoy the company of other parents.
As God’s children, young and old, teachers and learners, we are witnesses to God’s action in the world. Through Bible stories, activities, and prayer, children in these grades will learn to know the Word, grow in faith, and learn to show service to one another.

At Grace, we believe that the education of adults is just as important as the education of children. It may be even more important; after all, children learn from adults. Classes are offered in modules of six to eight weeks. Sunday School classes for adults are offered as follows:
A class just for men to study God's word and build fellowship.
This class is a traditional Bible study.
A class just for women to study God's word and build fellowship.
This class will study the same Bible stories each Sunday that the children (2 years old through 5th Grade) will be studying. Participants will explore these stories on an adult level and also discuss ways in which they can discuss these stories with their children and grandchildren and apply them to their everyday lives. Parents and grandparents of children in this age group are encouraged to attend, however this class is open to anyone who would like to participate and gain a fuller knowledge of basic Bible stories.
